I am building at Women Build 2019 and need your help!
Not only am I participating in this important group building day, I also serve on the
Habitat for Humanity board of directors, and am a committee member for
our annual Building Haven Gala. Habitat is important to me and I'm
invested in helping make this day, along with many others, as successful as possible. Thank you for your support!
Since 1991, Women Build volunteers from all walks of life have come together to build stronger, safer communities.
Though our neighborhoods are comprised largely of women and children, they are also the population’s most likely to be affected by poor living conditions. Habitat for Humanity's Women Build events provide the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities.
Women Build promotes the involvement of women in the construction industry. The Women Build event works to recruit, nurture and train women to build homes and lend a hand to their fellow neighbors.
Women Build is not about excluding men, but rather it is about encouraging women to become empowered to participate and show what we can accomplish when we all come together!
